To meet the high demand for elderly industries such as social enterprises, healthcare, and non-profit organizations in Taiwan, the Undergraduate Program of Elderly Creative Industry Management was established in August 2015 with the approval from the Ministry of Education. The Program has set up the two-year program leading to a Bachelor degree.

Educational Objectives

The Program aims to prepare students to fill entry or middle level positions in elderly-care industries. Our graduates are expected to have sound theoretical knowledge and solid practices to help their prospective employers solve social and business problems related to the elderly.

Special Features

The Program focuses on teaching excellence, which is achieved by balancing theoretical foundation and practices. Other important skills and knowledge such as industry analysis and project management are emphasized. The Program also encourages establishing partnership with local organizations to facilitate teaching, research, and student internships.

Faculty members all own doctoral degrees and substantial experiences in the elderly-care fields.

The fields of elderly industry management offer a wide variety of occupational opportunities for graduates. Graduates can expect to work as tour operators, Health Fitness Instructors, financial planners, marketing analysts, and life counsellors for senior citizens. In addition, pursuing graduate degrees (in business or management schools) at domestic or overseas institutions is a good prospect as well.
